Welcome to LawFairy Limited's Terms and Conditions of Usage.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our platform and services provided by LawFairy Limited ("LawFairy," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using LawFairy's platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our platform.

  1. Definitions
  2. 1.1 Platform: Refers to the website, mobile application, and any related services provided by LawFairy Limited.

    1.2 Services: Includes legal information, document preparation, and other related services provided by LawFairy through the Platform.

    1.3 User: Refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Platform.

  3. Use of the Platform
  4. 2.1 License: LawFairy grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform and Services strictly in accordance with these Terms.

    2.2 Registration: You may be required to register an account to access certain features of the Platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

    2.3 Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:

    • Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorised purpose;
    • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers or networks connected to the Platform;
    • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, user accounts, or any computer systems or networks connected to the Platform;
    • Modify, adapt, or hack the Platform or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Platform;
    • Use the Platform in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks, or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Platform;
    • Use automated scripts to collect information from or otherwise interact with the Platform;
    • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent yourself, your age, or your affiliation with any person or entity;
    • Upload, post, transmit, share, store, or otherwise make available any content that we deem to be harmful, threatening, unlawful, defamatory, infringing, abusive, inflammatory, harassing, vulgar, obscene, fraudulent, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable;
    • Upload, post, transmit, share, or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, solicitations, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation;
    • Upload, post, transmit, share, store, or otherwise make publicly available on the Platform any private information of any third party, including, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, National Insurance numbers, Social Security numbers, and credit card numbers except without the express consent of any such person and in such a case with their express acceptance of our Privacy Policy;
    • Solicit personal information from anyone under 18 or solicit passwords or personally identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes; or
    • Use or attempt to use another user's account without authorisation from that user and LawFairy.
  5. Content
  6. 3.1 User Content: You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights in any content that you upload, post, or transmit to or through the Platform ("User Content"). By uploading, posting, or transmitting User Content to or through the Platform, you grant LawFairy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, create derivative works, perform, and distribute your User Content solely for the purposes of operating, developing, providing, and improving the Platform and Services.

    3.2 Third Party Content: The Platform may include content provided by third parties, including links to third-party websites. LawFairy does not control or endorse any third-party content and makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding such content. Your interactions with third parties and your use of their content are solely between you and the third party.

  7. Intellectual Property Rights
  8. 4.1 LawFairy's Rights: All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform and Services, including all associated intellectual property rights, are owned by LawFairy or its licensors. You acknowledge and agree that the Platform and Services contain proprietary and confidential information that is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws.

    4.2 Feedback: If you provide LawFairy with any suggestions, comments, or other feedback regarding the Platform or Services ("Feedback"), you hereby grant LawFairy a royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, irrevocable, perpetual license to use, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such Feedback in any manner.

  9. Privacy
  10. 5.1 Privacy Policy: Your use of the Platform and Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  11. Disclaimer of Warranties
  12. 6.1 As Is: THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAWFAIRY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

    6.2 No Warranty of Accuracy: LAWFAIRY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM OR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE PLATFORM OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE THE PLATFORM AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

  13. Limitation of Liability
  14. 7.1 Exclusion of Damages: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LAWFAIRY, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OF THE PLATFORM OR SERVICES.

    7.2 Cap on Liability: LAWFAIRY'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PLATFORM OR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO LAWFAIRY DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO SUCH LIABILITY.

  15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
  16. 8.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

    8.2 Jurisdiction: Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of England & Wales, and each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts in any such suit, action, or proceeding.

  17. Changes to Terms
  18. 9.1 Modification: LawFairy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole and absolute discretion.

    9.2 Continued Use: By continuing to access or use the Platform after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorised to use the Platform.

  19. Miscellaneous
  20. 10.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LawFairy regarding your use of the Platform and Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral.

    10.2 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
